Cubase audio works nice up to 90 MHz, but my Falcon has troubles with accelerated bus so bus is at 16 MHz when working with it (toggle switch installed)...There were also several similar cases so I think you should get CT63 and install 50 Mhz osc on videl pin 14 enabling you to use cubase at 800x608/mono...
also, cubase is great for playing samples, but there are many other programs for such a simple task (aniplayer etc...)
