i have managed to find a scart lead but still the screen is "wobbly" and slightly off screen (not as bad as using the RF with a tv though) it is not the lead as it's fine with an STE - if i use the dodgy STFM with an SM124 high res monitor it's fine!?!?!
so anyway i'm now guessing it's not the RF but i reckon something to do with the Marpet upgrade board has buggered it up!
i have noticed that the MMU adaptor on the marpet is very close to the metal shield above and could have possible touched it as it really is that close! (you'd think they would've made the marpet with a piece of card on it wouldn't you!) both adaptors are tightly in place
