it's a Protar interface board (circa 1991/92) i have the Protar software but all it can see is the host adaptor - not the drive

DMA lead is fine

i'm using it with a 4 meg STE (and no the ste doesn't have a bad DMA chip! ;0)

the drive i was using is a Seagate 4.5gig but i was thinking it's too big - still i thought the board could maybe "see" the drive
