You're right Paranoid, however, there's at least for me one thing which stopped me to install ct60 boost and not to replace the existing Phantom solution: clockpatch. By installing ct60 + boosted motherboard you WON'T get clockpatch. Just to refresh, clockpatch is the solution for avoiding famous "clicks and cracks" in sound at 50 kHz and problemless run with scsi hdds in hires modes...

and yes, as it was mentioned, nemesis/phantom/mxtreme can be switched back to 100% original falcon by software.
