atariarchives is a great site! Yes, there may be a lack of updates, but it doesn't mean the site has to close. Some sites haven't been updated in ages and are still up. The information provided on the site can be very useful.
Would you consider zipping the entire site (compressed HTML is very small) and offer it somewhere? Those who want it could decompress it and use the books.
There is a huge amount of work on that site. It would be a shame to waste it all.
