And, to get back on topic a bit, about these cards you wrote about:
I visited the maker's site, and read that they are specifically for older Macs.
Then I thought that an interface for localtalk might exist for mint, so I took a look at the sparemint site to see if there are any packages for that.
Sadly, I couldn't find any.
So, it seems to me that there is a slim chance of them getting to work.
(of course I'm not in any way a mint expert, any others here that could verify/prove me wrong?)
