Of course it is... As soon as I saw your post, I remembered somethign about the Dodgy SCSI DMA on the Falcons.
Anyway, I have just been looking and I have found lots and lots of references to the problem, but no real actual solutions. Michael Ruge does not seem to have a valid site anymore, or at least I have not found a valid link to it. Any chance of some help there?
If I canot find a solution, is there anything else I can try out???
What exactly is the DMA problem?
I mean, I get the Falcon to hang every so often during copy ops but why does it do it? - again, I have had no definite answers in my searches.
Any other help you can provide?
I have more thoughts about this and I think a fresh question might be a better way to open it up rather than kind of ask you alone.
