Games are only one thing.
All Gwiz asked was whether there was such a program.
All I did was tell there is not. without saying any technical crap that is uneccessary.
The basics of such an idea are fairly simple enough, all it requires is to emulate the floppy drive and as this has already been done, it would not require much "NEW" coding as you would think.
True, games do indeed bypass GEMDOS and have their own routines, but thats only for games.. .ST and .MSA are not all hacked games, there are other legit reasons to want your Floppy collection backed up and for those, the whole idea of by passing GEMDOS is completely mute... I think that some little program that would allow me to mount my .ST or .MSA collection would be a nice idea... However, as I said, it would only appeal to a very small minority.
So, I fail to see why you are getting to me on that?
