>>If you haven't replaced it, it will go bananas eventually. The CT60/3 has a temporary fix for this in that you can use the flash instead of the NVRAM. This prevents settings from getting screwed up, but it doesn't set the clock right.
Replaced it? What? the Clock battery?
>True. But this generally includes the patches on Czubas website.
Accepted.
>>I tried like 4 or 5 before I settled for one that seemed to work in all cases.
Yes, I have a few dozen sticks that I will be working my way through.
>>Have a few more at hand just in case. (PSUS)
I have yes.
I build PCs for a living, and I have extremely high quality gear from such makes as OCZ, Hyper, etc... Ill be going on those only.
>>Frankly, I don't see why some people call this stuff expensive.
Agreed. I paid a lot for it, but considering its done by a guy in his shed, and considerign it turns a 16Mhz computer, into the fastest most powerful Atari clone, etc etc etc, then yes, its a very ambitious project, and yes, all things considered, its cheap for what it is.
But, that still does not distract from the fact that I have had to outlay that much.
