Some time ago, when my 05rw was my main module, I wrote a small ACC that reset the Korg.
Since the Korg was not 100% GM compatible, and with its bank0 issues and so on, the ACC simply sent a GM RESET, but also set the banks to GM instead of the KORG Bank ( Bank 56 IIRC ? ) and also reset the VOLUME, PAN, and such like.
I found it absolutely invalueable at the time, although now I have gotten more used to putting the said information into the tracks.
I will have to dig that ACC out - plus source FWIW and release it I s'pose.

This was also somethign that I started work on, but never got THAT much further than failing to design a front end I was happy with.
Sure, the snippets of code that I did do, that allowed the actualy "Under-The-Hood" work, certainly did its job ( I think ? ) and so perhaps if I still got all that code ( very unlikely - it was a shambles ) then you are welcome to it.
