Some of the pins were factory bent???
Dont know about that, however...
I have very recently upped my old STE to TOS 2.6 and there were NO BENT PINS
Also, of the 2 sockets, and 2 chips I have, when looking at the Board as if Im using it ( Floppy on right , Cartridge port on left , other ports at back, the Chips slot into their sockets with the notch to the right.
My Chips are shorter than the sockets and so I need to leave 4 pinholes on the sockets empty... These 4 empty holes are on the right hand side of teh socket... Near to the floppy hole ( Which isnt there of course )
It wont dammage it if you get the wrong chips in... It just wont boot, and you can just swap the chips about again.
