Most of their stuff works under primitive conditions, i.e. - no memory protection. You may however experience interesting side effects in the long run, since nothing prevents your application (and HS Basic) from corrupting the system and/or other applications.
Even if it's a matter of personal taste, it's generally better to use stuff which has been updated the last century. Especcially if you want your productions to have a remote chance of running on other system configurations (i.e. freemint, XaAES, MyAES, N.AES, Geneva)
