Yes. The two 19-pin ports are to daisy-chain several ACSI devices, not SCSI devices.

There is no such cable as a 19-pin to 50-pin cable.

So when you say Link type host adapter I would need another host adapter? Not just a 19 to 50 pin cable? Sorry if I seem dense but I am taking up the Atari St again as a hobby after being away for many years.
