I think that we can assume that the two versions of HBasic are simply that one requires an 030 and an FPU and the other only requires a 68K variant.
At this time, the standard version has been able to now work on my Falcon, but the TT version still simply fails.
The TT version for me, simply will not work at all ??? Well, ok, yes, it runs absolutely fine, but if I try to compile it, it will fail tellign me that it needs an 030 and an FPU.
Well, in 030 mode I have the 68882 and in 060 it has an FPU built in, so WTF???
Now HBasic as we all know is not the fastest way in the world to program, and a stock Falcon is not the quickest lump off the proverbial shovel either, but on the TT, its very nice and useable, so, I would love to get it to play nicely on the CT63... Then it would be a very nic esystem to write my code with... Even if my programming skills are not what they used to be.
Im glad that the Stock verion has worked for the few quick tests I have just done with them, and yes, that version also allows the use of both ST and TT RAM.
In factm at this time, Im not fully clued up on what benefits I will lose by going back to the stock version... Im assuming that it is simply only that the TT version uses the power of the 030 to compile etc, and if thats all it is, then thats no loss at all is it?
But you say that your Falcon can run the TT version?
Mine does as I said, but it fails to compile.
Did yours compile any code?
It does not have to compile anything really, a blank page will do, just to get it to run the compile bits.

I wonder?
