No, Im completely going nuts trying to find out information on the CPU I was on about.
I have to admit, that I am confused here, but what it is, is simply a CPU... I cant remember what CPU it was, and it had a replacement model, that had a co-processor built into it. Might not have been an FPU, but it was NOT treated like one at all... It simply made certain calculations dozens of times quicker than normal. It was 100% compatible with the normal CPU because it was essentially just that, and this also allowed an FPU to be added as another extra.
This "Special" CPU did not have an FPU built in, as I said, it only worked like one.
I might be confusing myself but I know what I remember... If I dig out the info it will be crystal clear, its just finding the bloody info to dig thats all.
