Well, some years ago, I wasvery competent with a soldering iron, but since my accident, Im a tad shaky...
Ok, lets say I went to have a go myself... Let me see... Will you walk me through it?
If so, where are we?
Ok, going by Rodolfs page, in the MACHINE IS NOT STABLE part...

Verify you see no 74F08 soldered (added) on the clock trace near the SDMA chip. If yes, you must remove this 74F08 and connect again the clock trace (that was cutted for this 74F08).
On the GAL U63 (left of the NVRAM) : - If you see a component 74F08 or 74F04 with some wires connected on the resistor places R216, R217, R221 & R222, you must remove this component and the wires. Solder the three 33 ohms SMT resistors (furnished) on R216, R221 & R222 places. - If you have no 74F08 or 04 on U63, you have to verify all the three resistors R216, R221 & R222 are well 33 ohms marked 330 or 33R). On some motherboards, one of them can be a 0 ohm (marked 0 or 0R0) : replace it with a 33 ohms.

Now, I am sure that I do indeed see this... I am under the impression, that this is the SCSI FIX?
I am a little concerned about removing the wires because it was originally such a nasty poor job that if I do remove them, I wont be able to fix / repair them? - I was thinking however of simply shortening the wires to help things out, but again, I saw the mess recently anddecided enough was enough... I made sure the wires were soldered in well enough and that nothing was shorting and left it as-is.
Again, another section from Rodolfs page :-

Locate the SDMA (U36) under the floppy drive place.
( SNIP )
It is termination resistor.

AHA! - now, I can see how to do that one.
But back to the first one, I am sorry but I simply did not understand fully on what to do?
Could you walk me through it?
Preferably with clear pictures???
Sine you must have had yours done, is there any chance you can send me pictures of your Board as it is now?
Hey listen...
I felt a bit iffy on doing teh Clock Patch and so I bought a Socket for the new Maxim/Dallas Chip and took it to a local guy who was supposed to be among the best around here and knowing that it will be a good job, I paid him "Handsomely might I add" and I got the Board back, and when I got back home to lob in the Dallas Clock chipm, I saw that one of the pins were not in properly...
Luckily its NOT a pin that the Falcon needs or uses ( Thanks to all who helped me out on that one ) so if thats the results of what the best aroundhere can do, then I am buggered if I am going to let any local twat touch my Falcon.
I had a go at the guy who did my Falcon and he did offer to rectify it, but since it wont make any difference anyway, I decided to NOT risk it with him.
Anyway, back to these fixes then...
Do you fancy helping me then, if I do the job myself?
Like I said, I used to be very competent with an iron, but I had an accident and I have lost full use of my left arm and I have to use my right now ( I used to be left handed ) but if you think its an easy job, then I will have a shot... As long as I have ENGLISH instructions.
