Yes, thanks for the heads up but these are among the first things I tried.
I am very competent with PCs, and so I know that RAM and niggly PSUs can cause al lkinds of issues.
I am currently using CRUCIAL CAS 2 PC133 256MB which according to even Rodolf, is the best option for the RAM. Again, I have over 40 sticks of various flavour SDRAM and some work ,some dont ( in the CT that is ) and some are reliable and some are not, the Crucial sems to bne the best option... Also have Kingston and Samsung that are perfect too on stand-by.
Power Supply is currently an OCZ 600Watt, The Meter shows the lines are absolutely perfect and dont go anymore than 0.01v either direction, so I know the PSU is not going to be any better than that!
Again, I have tried a number of PSUs too!
Corsair, Fortron Source, Enermax, Tagan are all just a few of what I have.
The Atari is somethign however that I have never really delved too deep into the hardware side of things and I am very scared because of how much they cost to repair.... Pcs are worth sod all, but Ataris is another story.
