Dude,
"While the IDE thing may be true, I have two Falcon030's, one with the CT60 and the other with the CT63 and both have ran just fine without the patches for quite some time."
As I said, this works in some machines. I've had one where it didn't, and one where it did. The guy has an unstable machine, no matter if he runs TOS or MagiC or whatever. Hence it could be a good idea to check out the machine itself.
"I ran my CT60'ed Falcon for 1.5 years without any of the patches recommended on Rodolphe's web page. Although I did do the modifications to the CT60 when those came along for the first run of CT60's."
My machine wouldn't run stable without the patches. Again, there several revisions of the motherboard, and variations on them in turn. We don't know if this particular Falcon shares the same properties as yours, right?
"Both of my Falcon's have a EtherNEC and 20+inch IDE cable and also have SCSI drives connected and I have had no issues."
EtherNEC never worked in combination with an IDE drive in my falcon.
"Maybe I got the two best Falcon's in the world??? LOL."
Maybe. And maybe other falcons behave differently compared to yours two. He could either try to remedy the situation based on Czubas recommendations, or stay in happy fluffy land and pretend everythings OK as it is.
