I'm afraid the answer is no, especially not using AHDI.
The way you _would_ go is to use HDDriver or HuSHi as
harddisk driver and use BIGDOS because DOS- and TOS-
partitions differ as soon as they exceed 32MB.

But you asked whether it would work "reliably" and then,
the answer is no i'm afraid. BIGDOS doesn't work very well
on the Falcon and might screw up your partitions a couple
of times. Some people reported it to work well but my
experience revealed the exact opposite.
