Im tryign to work out why this Falcon is havign issues with SCSI now.
I bought it from a guy who had a Syquest 270 FloppyDrive and it worked great for him ( it seems? ) but for me, I am having a few "Issues".
Finding the drives is never a problem, but my one and only problem lies with writing to the drives... It will copy for a short while, but then all of a sudden, the copy process will hang... The Falcon does not hang as such, but the copying does.
Termination.
Yes, I have added a 47r but this did not help, so I upped it to 56r and now its at 68r and this is still not helping ( internal termination ) and externally, I have always plumped for a Drive with a Termination jumper or even with the SILs and this has worked in the past, but not had any luck recently and so I have bought a handful of terminators to try to terminate proper, includign new cables and connections etc, all in the hope of making sure that cables and termination are 100% perfect and they are as good as I will ever get them.
I dont know???
