hi guys

thanks for your replies

actually i have a diagnostic cartridge but still there is no screen when this is used

it is absolutely a standard mega with no mods and the original 1 mb ram and hasn't been messed with at all

socketed chips are tight

obviously the memory is soldered in and can't be removed so i though as i have one i could add a marpet upgrade and see if it works with that?

then maybe if not start changing chips like CPU and DMA etc?

any other advice would be helpful too :0)
