i had the same problem but it was the monitor ..wire was broken on the 12v pin.
sc124 b/w. 2nd time it was the capasitor next to the flyback transformer. i changed all 3. using a highgrade replacements i was able to expand the screen to the edge like a sc125 monitor...ohh yeaaaa make sure the brightness is up all the way!!! (dumb error).
i did lose the 12v on the power supply. (used only by the floppy and monitor pull up screen.)
