Thanks, I'll try obliterating any remnants of HD Driver on the hard disk and try again, slightly distracted trying to install Easymint on the Falcon CT60 at the moment though... It's weird really, I never had any of these problems with the slightly newer Yamaha CDRW, which is odd as they are only a year apart and virtually the same design..
