I agree absolutely 100%
... The snag is...
That I have done nearly all the work ( Where have we all heard that one ) and I think or rather Im hoping that since everythign else does now indeed seem to be sorted out... Restoring this SCSI Clock Patch being the final thing, if it was done, and it does cure it, then at least I will have acheived something for a change.
Sure though... I had asked Rodolphe before I even got the CT about sending my Falcon over but he said its a plug and play and it will work.
I even pointed out a few things that didnt add up with mine in the first week, and its only in teh last 2 weeks that he has accepted that my CT63 did indeed have issues that would have caused it to fail as it has done.
I have asked him for a replacement on a number of occasions but he never got back on those and more recently I have asked him to do it for me and I need a final price on what it will cost me to actually get it sorted for once and for all but I have yet to receive a price too!
I have one small issue at this time and that is that all my recent data is on IDE and I now have teh TT back in the No1slot but can I get at the data on the Atari Drive to copy it over ? can I buggery?
On monday I am hoping to receive the 7408 ICs but I guess you may very well be right...
This is the last job, but what if I push it or myself over the edge?
I will give Mr Czuba one last call I think.
