Thanks yes, I know the partitioning differs, which is why Im using Linux as that should read the atari partitions correctly.
USB - After O/S Boots - Yup, done that, but it still hangs when trying to access the drive.
Directly ( Master/Slave ) - Agreed, its set to Master as I have not used CS for over 10 years on any IDE Drive.
Mixing 2.5 / 3.5 Interesting, but its on its own line and even its own controler, having the PC running from the SATA.
Im starting to think that this drive's format had some corruption which is confusing the PC?
