Yupp, even the Hades manual says that the floppydisk-drive used in the Hades can NOT read any "weird" Atari formats and even suggests that you use a 1040 STf to copy those files around.

Since you surely have read the manual you know this by now. ;-)

Simple trick is to cover the HD-index hole in HD disks, format them on the PC or the Hades as DD disks (it will work) and use those to transfer files between the PC, the ST and the Hades.

P.S.: Or buy an NE2000 card for the Hades and
setup a network between the Hades and the PC.
