>>Well, i will make 3 partitions on my IDE hdd, than i will let you know. :-)
Its only a suggestion, you are NOT forced to, but the 500MB for C: so you can boot without problems into both TOS and MiNT, and the 1GB for D: so you can have access to plenty of other things without needing MiNT.
>>I will be able to see this partition on my Falcon?
Yes, but only in MiNT
MiNT will be able to use it perfectly well for both reading and writing... Use your PC to format it this way and then you can always put the driveinto your PC to backup your atari or get files to/from the atari to PC ( MP3, Pictures, etc )
>>I need to go in partition type (i got HDDriver 8.21) to sign it like F32?
No, use HD Driver to get the IDE drive setup and have the TOS partitions setup as normal, and to setup one with the LNX type but the SCSI one do on the PC.
For some strange reason, HDDriver does not do Fat32 Partitions at all well? - I have managed to make large partitions but they are not good ones and so, using the PC will be much better.
