like the 060 before it most software from previous members of the cpu will run. if u want to go forward u have to break compatibility with the past. now we already have tos 4.04,mint and my aes running on the coldfire. there is some software to also help with backward compatibility -that last 2%Of the 5% of software that screws its nose up at the cold fire. for the other two percent, a coldfire port of aranym would work wonders. :-)
