Me personally, although I started out with the Atari 8-bits, if it adds more cost to an ST clone, I'm less interested. I moved on. There are a couple open source 8-bit emulators out there already. Anyway, it's more or less a non-issue, it just ain't gonna happen no matter how much dreaming goes into it. It's hard enough to get a single purpose clone built, let alone a dual purpose one. :)
