Yes you can.
They take up a SCSI ID, and so, in theory, you can have 7 of them... 15 I suppose if they work on the ACSI ?
I have just the one however, its ID is set to 0 and I boot from it just fine.
As for a Slim CD plus a HD... A Tall order I feel.
The SCSI Cable goes into the IDE Adapter, the IDE Adapter goes into the CF Card Reader ( Or HD... The CF Reader is smaller however ) and while its not crammed in there, there is certainly not much room at all for a CD never mind a CD Drive.
On another note, can you fit a slim CD Drive in there on its own?
I seriously doubt that too.
