it's true maybe in UK there's someone who can do this (vague recall someone from Atari Forum, simbo maybe?) but i wouldn't see it as a big problem with France, I've sent at least three times my falcons to him, postage fee about 30 EUR for stripped motherboard.
Considering that Falcon was returned always 100% functional, it was worth of every cent.
Btw, I think you don't need to send the hard drive :)
