well i guess the mega ste keyboard is dead by the sounds of it
if you say it does nothing then you need to take it apart and check
1: the 6 pin phone type connection
2: check all IC chips
not sure if it's the same as the bog standard STFM/STE type keyboards the way it works but if it is then i'd replace the long IC chip and then the small one
tell me the numbers on your chips in the dead keyboard, i have many chips and if they are the same as the standard STFM/STE then i will have some......
