"Supra" was a brand name back then, they provided stand-alone harddisks with ACSI connector that allowed to connect them to any Atari ST computer instantly.
They seem to have been AHDI compatible so that both AHDI and the Supra driver could be used to run them, so you should be able to connect any AHDI-compatible drive.
This explicitely excludes Vortex harddisks. They are not AHDI compatible due to their very special host adapter and trying to use them with an AHDI compatible driver might result in complete loss of data.
