Well, it was possible to install Hatari emulator under Yellow Dog Linux on PS3. Unfortunately, Sony decided to remove Other OS feature with the one of the latest firmware updates and now... You cannot install GNU/Linux systems on this console. It's a real pain. One of the reasons I bought PS was Linux support. I spent some time customizing plain YDL to get better efficiency, install additional software, including emulators and they dropped Linux support!!! So, now there is a small chance you would ever be able to play ST games on PS3 via any emulator.

It was not nice...
