Thanks Phil for pointing me in the right direction. I've used AHDI and HD Driver in the past (long time ago!) to format my Atari hard disk. What I don't want to do is lose the directories and files I already have. So when you say 'format hard disk' can I do that separately for the syquest cartridge or add to what I already have? Sorry for my ignorance.
