I've tried it and no you can't!

I have come across 1 STE that, I was told, was a protoype STE that could only use 2 of the 4 upgrade slots (lower, bank0)!

I think Paul Rossiter, Hucknall Notts. has also come across one! So there is at least 2 knocking around.

Maybe that's what they are for, or to save time undoing the 6 screws from the psu cover!!!!
