Well, first of all, you need an ACSI cable to connect the STE and the Megafile.
Next to that, you most likely need some sort of driver software. The most common package is the AHDI package, which you will find on almost any FTP server still available, sometimes disguised as the HDX package.
Frankly, for a MegaFile, AHDI is absolutely sufficient.

More fancy drivers are HDDriver by Uwe Seimet (still actively supported) or HuSHi by (formerly known as) Hard & Soft.

Download, unpack and copy to a DD disk and using for example HDX, you can easily install AHDI to your MegaFile.
