 Subject: A new proud STm owner with a little problem

Hi,

I just bought an STm off of Craigslist. The system looks OK, the monitor fires up, the only problem is that all I see is a black screen with a white border.

Would this be a matter of me reseating the chips? or is this unit entirely bad?
