FWIW...

You're prolly going to need a Replay16 cart for this...it's the only thing I can think of that's common that could play back 44kHz 16bit on the ST....Hisoft might let you have the dev docs if you're nice to them...that said at least the challenge MP3 is small enough to get into a 4Mb STe with space to spare, so memory isn't going to be the limiting factor.....It'll have to be written as a TTP in machine code (the core decoder at least), but it's a worthy challenge I think :-))....I'm a hopeless progger so I'll leave you guys to it...

Less common stuff that would do this would be the ADAP hardware kit, the CDP hardware kit and that thing that gave you a couple of tracks of D2D from inside Cubase, IIRC it began with a P, but I can't really remember.....I think the Digidesign Sound Tools/Sound Designer stuff only ever ran on Mega's, but I suppose the Steinberg Avalon hardware would also do it
