Well, the spec is (according to memory) a 9-12V, 1.2 amp, centre pin positive power supply (look in electronics stores etc - many places sell an adjustable adaptor with many plugs attached - you just need to take your pick).
The ones for many makes of electronic keyboards and the Sega Game Gear will work.
Or alternatively you could go somewhere like Go Atari (goatari.com) or the GOATstore (goatstore.com) to pick up a genuine one.
