Yes, the ST is still widely used by the Professional, and a surprisingly high number of studios too!
I too used a whole STE as purely a sampler from Midi, controled by another STE, and I too use a Korg 05RW and Yamaha synths and although I almost defected to the PC, I gave up on it ( Cant get midi to play very well at all, despite having a SoundBlaster 1024 Platinum ( Supposed to be the best there is, its still crap compared to the Atari )
Actually, neiher me, or a mate can get ANY external Midi at all on the PC's!!!!
So as for using the Atari for music, its going to stay - Forever!
All I need now, is a colour version of Cubase Audio/VST that works on the TT, and I am laughing!
Does a Falcon version work on it I wonder?
