Subject: RE: PCI interface for ST/MegaST/TT

I spoke to Sven of Istari software (who are linked with Titan Design) and he says it is possible to get a PCI interface wired for the MegaST. Infact, they are developing DesTTiny, a PCI interface for the TT. Whether this will include the ST or the MegaST (in the near future), I do not know. What Mario is developing now is a graphic card for the VME bus, which is not available for the ST/MegaST/STe users. He also says that this will be his last project for the Atari as he feels the market for Atari is shrinking. That is sad! Even R. Czuba had poor response with his 060 accelerator board project for the Falcon; apparently only 89 people reponded. What has happened to all those Atari users? Are you really comfortable using the PC? My God, I own a PC too but I just can't stand the pathetic speed (even thogh it is AMD 500 Mhz). The operating system is rubbish with so much of incompatibilities. I still love my MegaST and would not stop upgrading it till it dies.

Cheers.
Long live Atari.
