Thanks for all your advise, but as I said in my second message, problem solved. I DID IT MY WAY. I ran my hard drive until it was close to bombing out and then switched it off. this gave me my normal desktop plus C drive from my hard drive, I was then able to remove offending prg. from C. I was then able to regain access to my hard drive.Thanks again to everyone who gave me a solution to my problem especially Damion, hope my result can help someone else in the future.
