If you have an external harddisk, why don't
you simply switch it off if you want to play
games from disk ? :-)
If it's internal, you need some good timing:
Press ALT shortly after switching on your ST
and release it immediatelly after the hard
disk has been tested for.
Then the autoboot sequence commenses from
disk.
Another possibility is pressing A during the
harddisk-bootsequence, since some drivers
(like for example HuSHi) automatically divert
the boot-sequence to A: then, however, the
harddisk-driver stays in memory and causes
some games to crash.
TOS 2.06 is not very compatible with some
games though, so if your problem remains, it
may be causing trouble, too.
