Double check out the pins on the connector that plugs into the Falcon. One bent pin can cause havoc.
Another problem might also be the .01 amp fuse in the SCSI bus line. Its located on the mother board just to the left of the scsi right angle connector. Usually is gray in color. If this baby pops you have all the functions of the Falcon except the scsi chain.
If the fuse has taken to hard a hit it may also cause problems with the scsi driver chip.
Mine took a 5 volt + wack and lifted traces on the mother board and cooked thru two of them. Used fly wires to repair the problem plus a new mini fuse.
