Hello.

There are several memory "FastRam" upgrades for the ST/STe. Either as stand alone memory cards (usually maximum 8 megs FastRam and 4 mb ST-Ram). I belive the most recent one is from Aixit and is called "Magnum ST".

Or you can have an acceleratorboard with FastRam (such as Veloce, PAK).

For RLL/MFM: The old Atari harddisks (SHxx, Megafile) uses MFM and RLL disks and I know people which replaced the original drives with larger ones, no trouble.
