Hmm... the NVRAM thing might explain why I can't get my TT to think it is ID7.....it wants to be ID0, it boots happily enough from a drive that is ID1, and the sampler is ID7, the EX135 will be 6 and the CDROM will be 5....if I can get the sampler to talk to my MO drive (it's a Panasonic PD650) then it'll be 4....

On TT and Falcon you can set it in the NVRAM. Using Hddriver or Bootconf for example.
