haha, I've dropped my ST off the cupboard and it still worked! I think I was playing wolfchild at the time, and all I had to do was pause it, pick the ST up and stick it back on the bench, and keep playing!
With the copper in the Amiga... it did take some load off the CPU, but it only gave it about 20% more power. And guess what? The ST running at 8mhz was just about 20%quicker than the 7mhz amiga anyway, so it didn't make as much difference they would claim. It did make the AMiga much harder to program...
