Well, in that case, i think the card should
accept 16 MB SIMMs, too.
About the fileflags:
There is a header at the start of each file
which features a few flags such as:
- Fast-load
- Run from Fast-RAM
- Allocate Fast-RAM
If you set the first flag, the file supports
to be fast-loaded. The second flag makes the
computer load this file into FastRAM if there
is enough of that free.
The third flag enables the programm to
allocate FastRAM with a MXALLOC request - for
example for workspace.
However, the third flag does not imply that
the program does really allocate FastRAM.
Depending on the way this program handles
memory, it might still be limited to work
with ST-RAM only.
