I know that it probably won't add any new features to the game, as the 2600 cartridges are only accessing the basic structure of the 2600 within the 7800. 7800 cartridges you'll notice have larger plug bases... in addition to the standard 2600 socket thingy, there are two additional plug circut boards with leads on them to take advantage of the special features. I think it may look a little different since the 7800 has a different graphics card.. but gameplay and features should be the same. I imagine that the reception on the 7800 will probably be stronger than it was on the 2600 too.
Did you know that the 7800 came out more than a year before the Nintendo did?
But unfortunately for some reason... whoever was incharge.. the Trameils or something... had the entire 7800 line put into storage immediately after they were produced. When suddenly there was competition, they whipped out the 7800.. which by that time was too late because the NES had already taken over. It's a real shame too because the 7800 was capable of speech and numerous other things. I don't believe the NES is a better machine, but the games were larger. The 7800 didn't have the games avaliable to it that the NES did. It had the storage space.. it just didn't have the games. There were quite a few PC computer game ports to the 7800 too, like Ace of Aces, Sub Battle Simulator, and some air fighting game.. and Ball Blazer...
